First PolyBilt crew cab

Oxfordshire Fire & Rescue Service has purchased four new fire appliances with both bodies and crew cabs made from co-polymer, PolyBilt.  Bodied by John Dennis Coachbuilders on Volvo chassis, these will be the first vehicles in the UK with PolyBilt crewcabs.

Pictured are the official handover of the vehicles at the Radciffe Camera in Oxford and the workshop team with Gersh Hughes, the Fleet Manager of Oxfordshire FRS.

The PolyBilt cab and bodies are 100% recyclable and are far more robust in the event of damage than conventional bodies.
